Marina, Continued...A

View of the Marina at Cochin from the lake
As I am very much thrilled by the response and interest you people have about my previous post about the beautiful Marina at Cochin, I am publishing a few more pictures taken from the boat while we had a round trip through the backwaters of Cochin.
the Marina with yachts berthed...
Another view of the yachts...
The Marina, which was opened and maintained to facilitate the adventurous tourists who come to India while on the journey, seems to be welcoming less number of tourists.  This may be because of the threat the tourists are having from the pirates near Somalia.  In reality, the threat is nil near India.  The sea near India seems to be very peaceful and ships and other vessels take up a route which near to the Indian coast to avoid attacks from pirates. And the peace loving people of God's Own Country are waiting to welcome the guests...

It is said that because of those pirats a beautiful Marina is suffering!
It looks indeed like God's own country!
Happy Easter to you and thanks for your visit as well.

I love photographing Marinas, especially when it's sunny and there are reflections.
