waterscape...

this is a water scape which is near kumbalam, ernakulam, in kerala. this place was an island which got connected to the mainland by the bye pass of national highway 47.  this place is very beautiful with backwaters, fishing and enough transport facilities.  may be, this picture has the horizon which is not horizontal.  this shows fishermen starting off for next catch from a boat jetty.  this lake part of  the 'lake vembanad' which is the largest in kerala and this kind of boats are used usually by fishermen.  it has space just enough for two people and some fish.

In my native country I see this tiny boats too. Just for two or one person and the fish that they catch for the day. Thanks for the visit I do appreciate it!
